The Essex kitcar club attended the ‘Wings & Wheels’ Classic car and motor bike show + light aircraft fly in at Damyns Hall Aerodrome on Sunday 19th July 2015. The show was organised by the Havering arm of the charity MIND to raise funds.

The drive down for a number of us was rather wet to start off with, but soon after 8 the clouds separated and glorious sunshine broke through. We met at the Halfway House on the A127 and left about 8:30 arriving around 9 as an organised procession of unique kit cars at the airfield.

As usual the public response at these events was absolutely marvellous, and the number of attendees and vehicle types on show was vast and very varied.
